Stop Having These 8 Thoughts To Stay Motivated

1. Ingratitude
People say it all the times "Be Grateful!". Of course it sounds nice, but the matter of life is relative, you're not even close to starving to appreciate those foods you eat.
When you aren't grateful, you focus on something that isn't there, and why you can't have it. Appreciation and Gratitude shocks you back to respect your life, instead of complaining why you don't have that life you dreamed of.
Well, how to be grateful of yourself and your life?
first, you need to be grateful of every little things around you,  force your self to be grateful of it, whether it's just a food you eat everyday, a shower you took this morning or even your ability to breathe every second, Shout your gratitude towards someone who helped you, whether you say thank you or send them a thank you letter.
2. Envy
Your envy affect lot of things in your life. For example, when you're envious, you won't be able to do your work perfectly. Instead of being focused on your job, you are more likely to be focused on why you can't do that someone's job or like, you can't love your girlfriend if you wish you had another guy's girlfriend.
The most dangerous part of having and keeping this thoughts are, you can't find who yourself really are because you are wishing you're somebody else! Envy makes you blind of the opportunity that comes in your own life. You can't spend your energy worrying the things other people had.
To get off this thoughts,
Back to the first point. Be Grateful. You don't need to be envious of the other's if you're grateful of your own life. Do not envy another people's success, congrats them instead.
3. Impatience
We are not Mark Zuckerberg, we are not those geniuses who could be billionaires in our early life. Rome are not built in one night, so as our life.
Just imagine, when you get impatient of something you're working on, you will quit, there's no point in keep going on something that you yourself don't know when you'll reach the goal. Being patient instead, speed up your work and makes your progress even faster.
Focus on the process not the end. The great doesn't instantly succeed. We all have to work and experience failure. Stop obsessing those thoughts of "When'll this end", "When'll friday come" or so.
4. Overwhelmed
How are you going to get the spirit to do something, when you wake up you got like 20 task to finish tommorow?.
Our only option is to do it step by step. You can't do all the things at once don't you. Trying to do all the things at once are only to get you lost.
Simplify your life, you don't have to take all the things at once. Instead Write down alist of what you want to do today and do it. Organize your schedule. Just, Lower the bar.
5. Inaction
Inaction means you're not doing something, instead you are waiting for it to happen. The more you wait, the more hard it become to start something.
Commit to action everyday, and be consistent for it. Make your self to be scared of not doing something than you are doing it.
6. Lost of Meaning
If you feel like your work have no purpose. You are guaranteed to have no motivation to do it. Without meaning and purpose, we are lost. Sometimes when we try to find that meaning, we realize it's not really there.
The truth is, we don't need the explanation from all those motivation quotes or philosophy. All we need is just to get lost in some activity, we don't need a grand purpose to do the things.
We should do what we love and want, aim bigger, express our self with those bad songs or bad singing. Happiness will come following.
7. Nothing To Lose
Just like playing video games. You'll get bored super fast if you're playing the easy mode. There's no challenge. You are superior there and nothing can beat you. Same as our life, you won't be motivated if you're to comfortable in the zone.
Sometimes you just need to put yourself where there's actually something for you to lose. Sports are no fun if you don't care which team wins don't you?
Start to take risks and positions. Break out of your comfort zone.
8. Crappy People
I hate to say this, but if you're surrounded by people who sucks, you're most likely end up sucking, too.
If the people around you are not creative, not motivated, and they don't do something inspiring and motivating, how the hell are you going to be motivated? It's easy to be awesome if you're surrounded by awesome people. It's a mutual symbiosis in our social life.
Actually, this depends on you. You can cut the 3 worst people in your life, start emailing someone online, meet your good old friends. Do it your own way.
What if...
What if we've done all this things and still can't find that motivation? Well, maybe our subconscious is telling us that this isn't the thing for us, or we need to shake things up in a bigger way.
Find what's sucking your motivation, if you can't find it, ask a close friend to weigh in and see how the two of you can change the mindset for the better.
